We finally started to send out
invitations. I don't know what took us so long? We had the
invitations printed weeks ago. But life just gets busy...really
busy. And there are still about 10 addresses I need to find. But
some people have already RSVP’d. And so we will have guests! And my
sister Dianna and brother Rick are also coming to the party. They will
help us cook. If you are planning on attending, you will be fed very
well! My good friends Donna and Cindy, and my sister in Law Amy and her sister
Sue will also be there. I'm so excited because a group of us (8 of us)
will be traveling to Italy for 10 days before the party. And while we are
there, we will shop for good ingredients that will make the party
special. So I hope to serve the best olives, garlic, and fresh herbs,
good cheeses, excellent prosecco and wines, olive oil and balsamic
vinegars. Everything freshly purchased from Italy. Everything prepared with care by my family
and friends. It will not be a fancy
feast. It will be a family feast. It
will be deeply personal. And we hope
very much that everyone who attends will be blessed. At least this is what is
planned. We hope that you will come hungry
and stay for a long time. The music will
be good, and I hope the weather will be too.
